Art has been my passion since the first grade, when I wrote for a classroom assignment “when I grow up, I want to be an artess.” Thankfully my art skills were better than my spelling.
 
I am inspired by dimension, dark and light, textures and patterns which are reflected in my artwork that ranges from jewelry to paintings. I have focused on jewelry art—one of a kind sterling silver pieces which usually incorporate semi-precious, unique gemstones (which I have had a passion for also since childhood). My family traveled across the northwestern United States to mine gemstones for our vacations in the summer, so what is more natural than to use these in my art?

 
Nature, leaves, trees and organic shapes inspire what I create. Though many of my pieces are pre-planned, most work more like sketching, where I place different pieces together until they take form and shape. This is especially true of my jewelry. I invite you to enjoy the art you will find here!
