Managing Your Peace: Your City Gates

With a continual bombardment of information coming at you from every direction, from your phone, tv, news, other people, how is your personal peace faring? In this session based on Maureen's new book Managing Your Peace, we will look at godly ways to manage the influences that come in and go out of your life, and what you can do to keep your peace within you intact through the lost art of self-control.

Practices of Peace

In this session, Melissa will introduce some spiritual practices that will help you dial down from all that is distracting you and focus on Jesus. This will help you to connect to God's love and presence so you can hear His voice and receive His direction. You will also learn some tools that you can use to stay connected to God and His peace, no matter what you are going through.

What do you do when everything is swirling around you and you can't see clearly?

• We somehow believe that if we worry about things, it is equal to praying about them. Worry and prayer should not be in the same sentence!  Worry is partnering with fear and stress.  Prayer releases solutions and peace.
  
• You can walk in peace and abiding in Christ even in the midst of turmoil.

Managing Your Peace: The Water Gate

Do you protect and prioritize your time for refreshment, or are you continually running on empty? This session will have you evaluate the things that bring you joy and energy and together we will look at what Jesus did to refuel himself for his busy life of ministry, to  gain some great insights to apply for our own lives.
